House is fucking awesome

 

Apparently there’s a new Goosebumps series coming out next month on Disney/Hulu? Hadn’t heard a word about it until I saw an ad for it today lol

 

House the character did have some "edgy" humor issues where he was like outright racist. It was never shown as okay, but was still jarring.

Also idk why but it killed me one episode where Michael b Jordan plays a blind man and is buying a ring and after he leaves the jeweler says something like "nice guy. Too bad he's handicapped though" like outta line for no reason and then the scene just moves on. I about did a spit take.

 

y'all like numbers? I was sixteen when 1408, The Number 23, 30 Days of Night, and 28 Weeks Later were released sixteen years ago

 

Yeah I always liked House. Definitely an edgelord at times with race just to be a dick/fuck with Forman, but otherwise found the show hilarious/good mix of drama.

Also tried searching for soem of my favorite lines in gif form, and this popped up in the results. It's long so have no idea if it's too big to post, but LMAO:

Having commercial breaks + paying a sub fee is bullshit to me. It should be one or the other and not both at some stupid tier level.

Has anyone experienced how buggy Hulu can be with ending episodes? Where you will get the "episode ending in 10 seconds go to next episode" pop up 5 minutes before the episode ends.

The other day on an ad break instead of an ad it went to whatever show it was going to Auto-play next, I let it go the end, and when it ended it went back to where the previous show I was watching left off.

Yes, and it's the worst.

Now MAX is doing this thing where when I go to watch the next episode of something on the continue watching, it's on the last five minutes of the previous and there's not a fast way to just get to episode list. HBO MAX didn't have these issues.

 

It's weird they're making these changes now. If you need money so badly, instead of making us pay to watch ads, why not just, idk, end the strike...?

 

They don't have to share ad revenue with actors and writers, I'm guessing.

 

Started Band of Brothers for the first time. It's been on my watchlist forever on Max, but funny enough seeing it front and center on Netflix is what reminded me to finally start it. Still watching it on Max since the quality/compression seems better on that than Netflix.
