Doug Gottlieb said this today: "Villanova took advantage of a really good draw last year". Lmao beat Kansas, Oklahoma and UNC. literally the toughest schedule seed wise in 30 years Fuck off
Wow, this Washington team looks soooo bad. Romar is such a bad coach... Like soooo sooo bad. Its astonishing that they haven't fired him. Poor Fultz, they're just doubling him and he has no one to pass to.
also, there are only 9 unbeaten teams left and conference play doesn't start for another ~3 weeks, thats crazy Villanova Creighton Gonzaga St. Mary's UCLA Baylor South Carolina Notre Dame USC 9-0 Villanova vs. 9-0 Notre Dame at the Prudential Center on Saturday
I don't understand how this Colorado team can lose to CSU one week and then beat Xavier the next. Stop playing with my emotions dammit!
I turned it off at 27-9, Romar is a fucking joke of a coach. They have the #1 recruiting class in 2017 so they won't fire him this year. But it's a brutal watch.
What's the point of getting all these recruits if your coach is garbage though? He makes cal look like Auerbach lol
No disagreement from me...I'd rather get 2/3 star guys and at least show a little fight instead of highly ranked recruits that are being coached by a dingus with no brain.....unfortunately Jen Cohen (UW AD) doesn't see it that way.
Its dumb, a lot of kids would still go to that school regardless. Its not like its Wyoming. I'm sure you'd get 3/4 star players easily. I say if they dont make it next year give porter an interim shot midseason and then hire a new coach if it doesn't work out. I stayed up excited to watch Fultz and then forgot like "oh crap romar is still coach" and few destroyed him with ease. Its not like they cant get another good coach to take the job either, look what cuonzo martin has done the last two years with cal... Its gotta be frustrating. Maybe fire the AD if she doesn't understand why 4/5 star teams cant make a tourney or look respectable.
I thought she was, but didn't bother looking it up. I vaguely remembered an announcement about it. Time will tell though.
It's been an absolute blast watching Josh Hart evolve from where he was as a freshman to what he is today. Legitimate player of the year candidate.
