Yeah the AAU doc on Netflix is pretty good, a couple current college guys in it like Rex Pfluger and Parker Jackson Cartwright
i was tempted but now that i look at their schedule idk how they got a 12 seed. i dont follow too closely but it doesn't look like there's a single noteworthy result.
you're not going to get many 12 seeds with great resumes.... they got this seed for going 16-0 in the ivy, a conference that lovessssss to get upsets. My problem is that Notre Dame is like a 3 seed in my mind. aka if they win we all agree that this was a BIG upset
Dayton is the likeliest upset in the tournament. You would definitely be able to set yourself apart with a Dayton pick there if you were right!
so since KenPom started in 2002, only 1 team (UConn 2014) has won the title being outside the top 20 in both offense and defense in his efficiency rankings. Lets use top 25 for each, since this will obviously fluctuate a bit as more games are played. Using that as the standard, here are the list of teams that fit that criteria this year: Gonzaga Villanova Kentucky North Carolina Wichita State Oregon
Bracket made, think WVU may have a shot of doing well this tourney. West seems like the easiest region to me.
Interesting. Only one of my tentative final four picks is in that list. That makes me feel a little better after my first draft.
