Most watched championship game in 6 years, wild.

 

No one is more excited than me about the win except for @morgantayler but my celebration definitely had me looking up the title ix stuff from earlier this year. There is shockingly little information out there about it, which gives me some hope that it was meritless? Ultimately, I’ve decided to continue to be happy and celebrate

 

Yeah that’s been hard to look past. Ultimately I’ve just tried to be happy with for the team because the guys absolutely earned it and they have nothing to do with what happened with investigation. Any time I’ve seen stuff celebrating Golden it has been viewed with contempt imo. I’m never going to discredit a woman that claims abuse/harassment unless clearly proven to be false, because the majority of the time it’s true and there is a lot going against them.

 

Also @dorfmac Clayton made it sound like he might be coming back today when they had their event at Flavet Field in Gainesville

That would be wild to me but I guess if he’s not confident in his draft stock right now it would make sense.

 

That would be an interesting gambit. If he doesn’t think his stock is high enough, then that is what it is. What more does he have to prove at this level? What else can he do to raise it further? But sure, if he comes back ill be happy.

Yeah it was a comment about how the Florida program was just getting started but some people are taking it as he may return. I guess we’ll find out in the next week or so.

 

It was his fourth year. Two years at Iona and two at UF. I think he has a Covid year available still.

I could be wrong but I’ve seen enough people talking about it so idk

 

he was listed as a GS year on wiki but gotcha

 

I was just looking into it and it seemed they were mistaken, he did all four years and started in 2021-2022
