North Carolina over Indiana is such a terrible look. ACC was ass this year and UNC didn’t beat anyone.
Their only good win happened in December against UCLA. 1-8 against ranked teams no business being in the tourney
All the teams are ass. I would have done Indiana instead of Texas but whatever. The bottom of the bubble was terrible
No Keshon Gilbert for Iowa State, so that sucks. I still think they get out of the first weekend though.
He has no part in those conversations/votes. He’s required to leave the room. They explained how unc got in on the selection show but I wasn’t really paying attention.
Completely agree. Unc being in might seem annoying but I don't have an issue with squeezing a 4th team from the acx But there's no reason the sec needs 14 teams...
They didn’t explain how they got it. They gave some generic ass answer that didn’t address how they got in when West Virginia and Indiana had much better resumes lol
Yeah I'm annoyed that Florida got this hot because that was going to be my team to win it all. Idk if they peaked too early though.
The SEC’s non-conference record being near .900% certainly helped Texas and Oklahoma over the line as they picked up a lot of Quad 1 and 2 wins there.
Yeah but texas non conference sos was 287 and had 5 losses of tier 2+ (by far mkre than anyone else) Eventually you gotta say, hey you finished 14th in the sec conf round Robin....let's give it to someone else. But as I said, I think most of these teams at the bottom are ass so I don't feel bad for wvu or Indiana with 13 losses.
Looks like the NIT is going the way of the bowls here. Teams are declining more and more....and i get it. I'm sure a ton of players are opting out anyways and these teams will look drastically different next year. No Indiana, Ohio State, Wake, West Virginia, and even Boise State said fuck that! lol
Sure. He leaves the room and then immediately comes back and is like “sooo UNC, we in?” lying to yourself thinking him being on the committee has no influence
