It’s wild that in the previous regular season meetings of AP1 vs AP2, the second ranked team is 5-0 and that this Auburn-Bama game is the first time it’s happened in the same conference. Figured Duke-UNC would’ve had at least one 1-2 matchup by now.

A&M has Tenn, Florida, Auburn

Auburn has the aforementioned Bama and A&M games, and three seed Kentucky.

They could all canibalize each other and still not really lose seeding. Never seen a conference like this.

It’s so funny to me that Auburn is still #1 with the two teams that beat them directly underneath them lol.

And I’m biased but Florida beat another #1 besides them.

 

Kansas’s fall this year has been one for the ages. Just got blown out by 34 to unranked BYU

 

It was BYU, TCU just knocked off Texas Tech. Either way, it's still great seeing Kansas lose

 

florida’s very good but two of their three losses are worse than both of auburn’s

 

auburn is 14-2 against quad one matchups. florida has 8 of those and is 5-3.

florida has the biggest statement wins in the season but i think its pretty hard to argue with auburn’s record

Going to the Duke v Illini game on saturday to witness Flagg in person. Will be interesting to see how Duke plays in a larger setting leading into March rather than against weaker ACC teams. Meeting up with a bunch of former classmates which will be fun.

That Tennessee-A&M game felt like a late tournament game. The SEC tourney could be interesting to see how many teams want to try and increase their seed vs rest for the big tourney.

 

I can't believe ISU hung with Houston as long as they did down two of their best players. Cryer was incredible today. That will hopefully be a fun rematch in the Big 12 tourney when ISU is back at full strength

I thought they were toast without Jones and Gilbert but boy did they hang strong. Very proud of the boys today.

 

Duke is up 30 on Illinois. The Illini fall off the past month or so has been crazy after being ranked in the top 15 at one point max

Illinois is currently 2-25 from 3 point land. Part of why they are down 30 plus points.
