It’s a very tick-tacky call but I think it was the elbow. Edwards sticks it outside of her body to get the screen.

 

South Carolina has won 79 of their last 80 games.
The only loss in that stretch is to Iowa.

That said, it's going to be a real uphill battle for the Hawkeyes to win it all.

Yeah, I'll reverse what I said above. That's definitely a moving screen from that angle.

 

Stinks to have a call like that end it but it was a foul. Bad game from Edwards, first half she couldn't hit a jumper and basically just threw the ball at the rim from under the basket.

Making a final four with basically 6 players is crazy though. Gotta hope Fudd and Bueckers get one full year together now.

Yeah it’s tough, they see it live and have the make the calls quickly.

I reffed basketball and flag football intramurals in college so I have empathy for the refs on the close stuff lol. If you’ve ever had frat bros yell at you, it’s not fun. Can only imagine the pros and actual ncaa games lmao.

I love them so much, so crazy to have watched them as a tiny baby on UConn and now they're retired and do this. I am almost as proud of how much fun they are to watch on TV as I am of their wins

 

Gabbie Marshall deleted her social media because people were flooding her account with hate comments because of the offensive foul she drew on the moving screen in the Iowa-UConn game.

She was just playing the game, she didn’t make the call. People are fucking insane.
