Btw how funny is it that the nit is changing their rules to allow more power conference teams into their tournament, yet every year those type of teams decline invitations and don't give a shit lol
Glad that UNC has their first 2 games in North Carolina, but being in the west bracket with #2 Arizona close to home after the first 2 rounds is annoying
i think i saw that St John's, Ole Miss, Pitt, Oklahoma, Memphis, Indiana. I know i just said this but tell me why the NIT is getting rid of auto-qualifyers for small/mid-majors who would actually give a shit
im suuuuper behind this year (i'm moving to a new state in two weeks so ahhh) but i finally got around to my bracketology that i've done every year since i was like 13. Teams that don't belong; Dayton, FAU, Northwestern, Virginia Teams that got screwed; Providence, Princeton, Oklahoma, Seton Hall (indiana state was like 5th) in the end how the fuck do you give the big east only 3 teams. I'll be an old man and say fuck the metrics! THREE teams in the top 12. We agree those teams are juggernauts, the next tier teams have wins against those teams...not too many bad losses.. i dont get it. big 10 getting 7 teams and big east getting 3 is an outrage i agree.
Dayton and FAU are puzzling for sure. FAU’s only good win of the year was against Arizona. Besides that they didn’t beat anybody. Dayton didn’t either. Both are definitely overrated.
I didn't even really take issue with Devin Carter winning BE POY, but funny that each All America team has a Big East player that isn't Carter
though given the pattern of them flaming out like this it probably means they’ll win the whole thing next year lol
I have 3 brackets in a friends $20 per entry tourny and I have no idea what i'm doing lets goooo. I picked Longwood to upset Houston in one of them simply to keep up with the tradition the last few years of dick-related school names with low seeds upsetting a top team. Can we do it again!?
Also if anyone has any advice/suggestions on some possible cinderellas/upsets please tell me and I'll adjust accordingly haha
they’ve been doing this pool for years and it’s huge, last year 1st place for like $5500. I used one of the experts brackets and made a couple of small tweaks to it, once again knowing absolutely nothing, and ended up finishing 6th and winning $250 haha
Very pissed I didn't take Duquesne in more brackets. I did a really big deep dive and found a funny stat... Teams in the tournament for the first time in 30+ years or whatever....always win or barely barely lose. A funny trend thing i found but when I did I started liking Duquesne more and more. Statistically and such theres no reason byu should have lost but its those exact situations that its good to pounce on
