I was gonna say if Shaneen isn't the Hall coach by the end of the month then that's a bad job by Hall (dont worry domo, we got you, he's the coach by the end of the NIGHT!)

I'm fucking ecstatic for all of this. I loved Willard. He made this program relevant for an entire decade. His BEST team got COVID'. Such a shame. He gets to move on and see what he can do with a bigger program and his replacement is easily one of my favorite Hall players of all time.

And in the end our final four are blue bloods haha. Like, honestly, a pretty obtainable final four to get right. Kansas, Duke, Nova... 1/2/2 seeds. A lot of people have 3/4 final fours right and CBS execs are having a rager right now with this final four.

 

Hoping for a Nova/NC final.

Big East needs some better fucking teams so hopefully he can bring Seton Hall up

 

Woah woah. Seton Hall is NOT the issue with the big east. Were not world beaters, trust me I know, but we've been fairly consistent.

Now if you're saying we need more title contenders, I agree. It's a conference with 1 legit champ team and a ton of "very good but not title contender" programs.

The teams that need to step up are Georgetown and St John's (i guess DePaul too but they don't have the legacy like the other two). The Hoyas and the johnnies used to be thr backbone of this conference and they've been pitiful and nonexistent for too long

 

Still can't believe Georgetown is at a point where they could lose 20 games in a row

 

I never said they're "the" issue. But, the Big East needs more high level teams consistently, period.

Aside from Villanova, there hasn't really been one. Even when Xavier, etc have a nice year, they get bounced in the first weekend. Its been this way for years.

Providence this year was a paper tiger IMO....every time they played a good team, they lost essentially
