Illinois is my team but that was fucking horrific. I can't believe they squeaked out with a win. Looking forward to watching them probably get thumped on Sunday.
the worst part about the tall white dudes on Wisconsin is that they have zero swag - just the most boring plain looking goobers in the world lol
This has nothing to do with this season. Honestly, Seton Hall completely overachieved and Willard stamped himself as easily the 2nd best in school history. But... Wow does this program mentally diarrhea everytime they get to the tournament. I just can't believe every single God damn year its deer in the headlights and they just don't show up at all. Do I think Seton Hall consistently gets screwed with their tournament draws? Definitely. Another west coast trip against a more west team. But I can't use that excuse this time. This performance would get blown out by anyone. I can't believe how hard it is for this program to just make the sweet 16 once! Come on. Just one run. It was supposed to be 2020 God damnit. That's was the team.
Makes complete sense honestly. I'm for it. Willards been great and i'd like to see what he does with another program. People wanting him gone seem to have much higher expectations for a program that was a dumpster fire before him.
lol outside of frank kaminsky, thats par for the course for Wisconsin. I did call davis having a big game though ;)
When Holloway took the SPU job I figured he would eventually end up as SHU’s next head coach. I guess now it’s just a perfect storm with the Willard rumors and the national attention on SPU. I was a freshman in 2010 when Willard took over so I’ve seen some early terrible Willard teams. Can’t deny that he’s turned the program around completely…what could’ve been that 2020 Covid year.
