He's crazy. Palm has them as a 10 seed and i agree.... if not higher honestly. Lunardi has them as JUST in. No way. These have been super quality wins and they had a borderline resume going in.
Richmond. The last of the bid stealers tomorrow. I soooooooooo want to see them win just to see whose teams dreams get crushed *Honestly, as long as a team like Wyoming doesn't get screwed. It's all good. Teams like Rutgers, Michigan, Xavier, Wake, VCU, OU, Notre Dame etc. They're all relatively the same.
You might have better insight into this than me, but what’s the reasoning on a 26-7 Kentucky being a projected two seed and a 25-7 (26-7/25-8 depending on the champ game today) Tennessee with a 2-1 record over said Kentucky team being a 3 seed? Is it the “blue blood effect”? Kentucky has the win over Duke, but Tennessee has wins over Arizona and Auburn, so they appear to be similar resumes. I know it doesn’t really matter at the end of the day, but seeding always makes me scratch my head in a few instances every year.
The Texas A&M snub is a joke. It really looks like none of the conference tourneys mattered unless a bid was “stolen.”
I’m actually glad A & M got the snub and not a team like Wyoming. A & M played absolutely awful for a month stretch during the season and did themselves no favors by getting blown out in the Championship game. That being said I’m surprised Michigan was ranked so high. That’s the head scratcher for me.
And this happens all the time and i don't understand why!! A&m racked up 3 quality and 2 great wins. Its not like they won just once or beat suspect teams...
I’m confused how you can look at the SEC having three teams in the top 10, two flirting just outside of it, and see the team that made the conference tourney final with 23 wins not be included.
Idk what I'm more insulted by. A&M snubbed or DAYTON!?!?!?! being the 1st team out. What the fuck? A10 team with 10 losses...a sub 100 sos...with only like 4 good wins and a few bad losses?? Stupid. Every single year the committee finds a way to annoy me
I feel like if anyone was going to be removed to get A & M in, it would be Rutgers unfortunately which would have sucked. They are a great story and actually have a lot of quality wins despite some bad losses. Overall a decent bracket with a lot of fun matchups. I’m super excited for a very wide open tournament that should provide quite a few upsets.
