Some of my friends who don’t even like sports started asking me about women’s basketball the last few weeks, it was cool
the final four being chalk is not usual and saying it's chalk/usual when one of the final four teams hasn't been in an elite 8 for nearly a decade and a final four for 70 years, nearly 40 years for another team, and could feature a team that was a first four team and hadn't been in the 8/4 for over a decade is patently absurd
No because Houston wasn’t a super popular pick to reach the final four despite being a 2 seed. Also you said per usual when that many number 1 seeds reaching the final four usually doesn’t happen lol
the most recent time houston or baylor have made a final four was nearly 40 years ago lol. gonzaga has made it once in the entire program’s history. if you’re only looking at the seed numbers, sure, maybe it looks like chalk. if you look at the context of literally anything else involving the teams it very clearly is not.
Nah - the AAC isn't a mid-major in basketball, though it has a lower floor than the P5 conferences and the Big East
