They are the number one 3 seed so.... if they win the acc tourney they will be a 2. No way they fall to a 4seed no matter how far they make it in the acc tourney
Looks like there’s gonna be a 3 way tie for the big 10 regular season title. Who will get the number 1 seed in that conference tourney?
Lunardi sucks He has Kentucky as a 2 in the East and Nova as a 3. Nova has more Quad 1 wins, a better NET ranking, and more road/neutral wins. They also have the best win (against Kansas) of the 2 teams. Kentucky is closer to a 4 than a 2. GTFO.
Buffs lost their last four games and lost a first round bye for the PAC-12 tournament. Classic Tad Boyle team.
Now arguing over a team being a 2 seed or 3 seed is silly in the end. But I think it would be silly if michigan state or maryland won their tournament, for them not to be minimum 2 seeds considering how great that conference was this year. I feel the same way about nova and Creighton.
The entire conference had a disastrous last few weeks. I thought yall were on pace to have one of the best years in a while... UC is certainly one of the culprits.
Been reading a lot about this decision. I don't understand how cancelling and giving the automatic bid to Yale was the first option...couldn't they try to do the 'play the games in an empty gym' precaution first?
What the hell, just play in front of empty stands. Man the next month or two is just gonna get even weirder
I guess it doesn't matter since they just put the regular season champ through, right? Or did they change that?
they changed it. they used to put the regular season through (which in many ways..makes a lot of sense). But then they changed it to top 2 teams, which, okay, makes it more exciting. but they recently changed it to top 4. Gotta feel for Harvard a little bit here. They beat Yale both times and 1GB.
Nothing yet: “NCAA member schools and conferences make their own decisions regarding regular season and conference tournament play. As we have stated, we will make decisions on our events based on the best, most current public health guidance available. Neither the NCAA COVID-19 advisory panel, made up of leading public health and infectious disease experts in America, nor the CDC or local health officials have advised against holding sporting events. In the event circumstances change, we will make decisions accordingly.” The first games for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament are next Tuesday in Dayton, Ohio. Earlier today, the Ivy League announced its weekend tournaments are canceled. As a result, the league’s regular-season champions – Princeton’s women’s team and Yale’s men’s team – are automatic qualifiers to the NCAA tournaments."
Between this, Wrestlemania, and the Olympics, a lot of companies are going to be out some HUGE money with any cancellations.
