But what else would the brands that pay millions of dollars that the players themselves will never see for commercial time do with all that cash?
I like his game a lot. Terrific defender, knows and plays his role on offense perfectly. Never tries to force anything. When you've got someone like Zion playing pretty much a perfect game, that's the type of player I want surrounding him.
Such a similar result to the last time Cuse and Duke played: Cuse hangs around and makes it a relatively tight game until the final 5-8 minutes, where they can't produce any offense and what should be a closer scoreline looks more like a blowout
I actually have decent hopes for a nice little tournament run, which I did not think I would be saying at the beginning of this season. Biggest issue all year has been the offense. Battle and Hughes have been been the most consistent, though not immune from disappearing completely on any given night. Hoping that the added minutes and reliance on Buddy during the ACC tournament will translate and give him the confidence to be that extra scorer on offense.
in terms of bubble, we're pretty much set, other than bid stealing. Three games with bubble implications Ohio State... win and they're in, lose and in my opinion they should be out. Alabama... win and they're in, lose and they're definitely out. Xavier...win and they're in, lose and they're definitely out. but god damn just give me ONE of Lipscomb, Belmont, UNC G, or Furman. Just one.
Agreed - I think Belmont has the best shot of making it, but I dunno how the committee will play it this year.
VCU's best player went down in the first half and now about to get bounced from the A10 tournament. Whoever wins the A10 will be stealing a bid.
They're a projected 7 seed. They never cracked the top 25 but were receiving votes at the very end of the season.
i wonder if a lot of that was just perception of them having a strong record and being #1 in a10. Like, VCU and Belmont. I don't see that big of a difference. VCU key wins = Temple, Hofstra, Texas (lost to Rhode Island twice, Charleston at home) Belmont key wins = Lipscomb x2, Murray State, UCLA (lost to Green bay and jacksonville st twice) VCU has almost no offense, belmont's defense is skeptical. i think they're BOTH in, but im just saying i wouldnt be shocked to see VCU in the play-in game.
