Wait, is the point of that tweet saying that the dude who slammed Laettner's head shouldn't be a foul in today's game?
im going to be sad when middle tennessee ends up not getting picked on selection sunday :( booooo teams that finish well under .500 in their conference (I'm looking at you Arizona State, Texas, Oklahoma, Syracuse). MTSU played a good schedule, had a great year, and had a bad game. It's crazy how the conference tournaments dont mean much, yet they mean everything to a team like MTSU. if you want to screw a mid-major team, look at NEVADA not MTSU (i think both teams should be in). There's already PLENTY of power conference teams in this thing. The big 12 is getting 70 % of its league in. SEC half.
No way the just cause excuse holds up lol. There was worse that happened under Calhoun. They'll have to pay him. Either way though he had to go. I've never seen a team run worse offense than UConn this year. If they even ran offensive plays, I'm not sure.
Vermont AND Lousiana-Lafayette :( one day... one day ill get my wish and 90% of the regular season champs will all make the tournament. That's how we'll get out 16 seed upset one day
Dick vitale is my hero right now. Just saw him talk about sometimes you just gotta use common sense when it comes to picking these teams. Taking teams that finish under .500 in the conference, lose 14 games get in? North carolina a team that has 9 losses is a 1 seed? Forget all this analytical stuff, sometimes you just gotta use your head (now with that said i actually do agree that unc is a 1 seed if they win tonight because beating virginia is a big time win...but i still dig vitales sentiment)
let's go Bona's pretty much have to win this tournament to get in, because you know syracuse or ND has to get an at-large even though they blow
no way... i mean forget how disappointed i'd be if MTSU or St Mary's didnt get in. I'll be livid if Bonnie's dont make it. They're a total lock in my opinion, not even for a play-in game
Even with the loss today they should be a 9 seed. They are #26 in the last AP poll and like #30 in the coaches poll (or vice versa). They have a strong RPI and their worst loss (to Niagara) came when Jaylen Adams was out. In November. I'm not even a Bonas alum and I think they're a lock and if they aren't the committee is a sham.
Yeah but they had a weaker schedule in 2015-16 and also lost in the A10 quarterfinals as regular season co-champs...I think they're fine this year. The bubble teams this year didn't do anything special, they all tripped over themselves this last week. I think they're fine.
