Duke took two 2-point shots the final 11:33 of the game with those monsters they have. Imagine if the roles were reversed. Actually, don’t imagine it. We’ve lived it. And we’ve torn Roy apart when that happens.

 

First time I watched bagley last night and he is pretty good.

Why would a team stay No. 1 after losing to the last place team in their conference?

 

Because the #2 and #3 team also lost? I mean it's not that outrageous

And the No. 4 team beat the No. 3 team. I don't understand why it's a question when No. has a terrible loss, No. 4 has a big win over No. 3 and No. 2 also lost. What a weird thought experiment of trying to keep Nova No. 1.

no, it doesnt, at all. Michigan State should be #1.

 

if you want the ranking to be a week to week gauging system, where a team goes up and down based on 1 win and 1 loss, sure... but if you want the ranking to include a season's worth of resume then Virginia is the clear cut #1, and i dont think its particuarly close.

That was Michigan State's 2nd impressive win (ranked team) of the year. Virginia has 4, a less overall loss, and plays in a deeper conference.
