That Butler-Villanova game was fun. I thought Butler was going to try and give up that lead, but they held on. I love good point play, so watching Brunson and Baldwin was a nice treat.

Eight of the teams in the Big 12 are in KenPom's top 40 currently, with four in the top 15.

 

kenpom also has cincy 8 spots ahead of xavier despite xavier spanking cincy and only losing to a top 5 team

so yeah, it’s not irrefutable or anything to be used as backing an argument lol

 

I'm not sure what one head to head game has to do with a season's worth of total rankings

the KenPom rankings are pretty indicative of who will win. I think for the past number of years, the champ has been top 25 in both offensive and defensive efficiency

It's not irrefutable but it is very much a starting point and better than using just one games worth of data.

 

Feel free to use the Sagarin Rankings which has six Big 12 teams in the top 40 and Cincy/Xavier as the 10/11 teams in the county basically interchangeable.
