Yeah, gotta respect a dignified bow out on a perfect series

 

I wouldn't be surprised if (and I'm quite hoping) his next endeavor is essentially Nathan For You freed of the 'helping small businesses' conceit and with a bigger budget on a larger platform (Netflix, Showtime, HBO, etc.)

 

Bummer, but not really surprised. It was a pretty perfect run he had, can't be mad about it

 

I thought we knew Finding Frances was the end. I definitely thought it was after watching it

 

Wouldn’t be surprised if they suspected it would be their last season so they planned to end it on high note

 

They didn't announce it as the series finale, but it's fair to have assumed such

 

It is good to end now. The last episode was probably the best in the entire series, and ending now prevents the show from running out of ideas.

Show creator and star Nathan Fielder made the decision not to bring back the show for a fifth season, according to a statement provided to Pitchfork by Comedy Central. “For the past five years Comedy Central had the pleasure of working with the brilliant Nathan Fielder on ‘Nathan For You,’” the statement reads. “His innovative and quick-witted humor has made the show a comedic touchstone and we’re proud to have been a part of it. We respect Nathan’s decision to end the series and look forward to geeking out over his next project.”

 

Easily one of the best shows ever. A true legend.

 

I love that he's the one who decided to end it instead of it being cancelled.

Facebook reminded me it was one year ago today I was interviewed/embarrassed on stage by Nathan at the NFY "Sneak Preview" in Brooklyn. Where does the time go?

EDIT: Also, more shows should do sneak preview events when they're a few episodes away from ending forever.
