As much of a bummer as that is, I'm pretty sure Nathan will continue to do even more brilliant things w his time.
“Finding Frances” was the perfect note to end it on. Seeing as shown Nathan runs himself ragged for each season, Is rather have him walk away than burn out. He’ll probably get commissioned to do some one-offs.
It sucks the show is over, but it makes me excited to know that anything could be coming. Like, it literally could be anything. Does anyone else remember hearing about Dumb Starbucks before even knowing who Nathan was at all? I remember the news stories and thinking it was hilarious and then saw the show years later.
While I’m not just bumping this thread for nothing, this seems to be a good place to admit that The Banzai Predicament was on my discover playlist on Spotify a few weeks ago. Might be because I listen to comedy things but still one my worst unintentional self-owns
I remember it pretty well. It was the one time I actually saw news of one his schemes before it was revealed it was him.
Like all of y'all, I'm sad Nathan is ending this show, but I am sure whatever the next project he puts 110% of himself into will be equally as hilarious and special.
I'm cool with the news, especially as he's not planning to retire yet. "Finding Frances" set the bar so high there's no way he'd ever be able to live up to expectations.
