We're always ranking albums around here...I think I gotta rank my top 10 NFY episodes today.

I did this as my top 5 moments after season 3:

1) Gas station attendant talking about drinking his grandson's pee.
2) The screening of The Web.
3) The entire segment for "The Hunk."
4) The exorcism of Nathan's hemorrhoids and small penis demons followed by the realtor's exorcism.
5) Man Zone: "Cause sometimes I get reeeaalllll close, you know what I mean!?"

 

I've gotta do a rewatch soon, because I pretty much completely forgot about the Man Zone, and now I'm already tempted to put it top 3.

If we're talking moments, I'm not sure I've ever laughed harder at the show than the way Nathan throws Buzz into his grave in the pet cemetery episode. That whole segment is just incredible, and with one of the greatest payoffs of any scheme he's seen through to the end.

When he tries to grab the paper from the lawyer is my number 1, holy shit

 

The dude drinking his grandson's pee is number one

 

I just played this on YouTube and it's still cracking me up, the timing in that scene is a masterpiece

 

The cut to the lawyer grumbling about signing something he didn’t read really pushes it over the edge

 

"What kind of lawyer am I, signing shit I haven't read?"

 

Surprised there hasn't been more people picking up on the "old man, filled with regret" Inception reference in Finding Frances. I thought it was a great payoff to the running gag that Nathan is obsessed with the film. It's on the shelf in his office for all four seasons, confirming in Season 3 Episode 4 that it's his favorite film. He also bugged Joseph Gordon-Levitt about it in a promotional clip and even tweeted a joke about the Inception app a few years ago.

I guess I should mention that I went to one of the live Q&As in Brooklyn and was picked to be interviewed by Nathan on stage. One of the best things I've ever been a part of.

So this isn’t on Hulu, eh? How does someone without a cable subscription get caught up!?

 

There are DVDs of the first two seasons out. I'm not sure if there's a "legal" way to watch S3 and 4. Maybe iTunes or something...
