I was so uncomfortable, Nathan might really be evil

 

I still maintain that the craziest thing about this show is that Nathan doesn’t force these people to say the things they say to him. In fact 99% of the time they say what they say completely unprompted and of their own free will. It always shocks me what people say to Nathan, with cameras running, and on the occasions where what gets said is so shocking he breaks character, you can tell it shocks him too.

 

I'm sure a lot of this is in the editing, but you're right... I still can't believe some of the things people say.

 

Oh my god Maria reacting to Solomon asking her out was probably the hardest I've ever groaned, it physically hurt to watch

Honestly thought the asexual computer shop segment was one of, if not the, weakest the show has ever done. The psychic definitely made up for it though

 

ya that one felt a bit off. the "sexual intruder" alarm had me laughing pretty hard though.

 

I thought the episode was fine, but it kinda seemed like something from the first season when they were still trying to find their footing. The recent episodes have just been SO good, that the last one kinda felt weak in comparison.

 

Yeah, thought last week's was relatively weak compared to the rest of this season but...even weak NFY is incredible.

I will say that the conversation between Solomon and Maria Garcia was physically painful, maybe moreso than any moment in the show's history. I legit couldn't look at my TV. The comedic timing of the cut of the HD documentary footage with her makeup all fucked up had me HOWLING. Ditto for the "sexual intruder alert" alarm.

But this is gonna be amazing.

 

This has me so hype

 

He's screening the episode in LA tonight for free for anyone who can make it. Sadly I am not one of those people that can make it, also the line to get in is going to be nuts

 

Yeah, I don't get off work until 9 and the shit starts at 8:30. So pissed.

 

i cannot tell you how excited i am to have TWO FULL HOURS of nathan tonight

Comedy central’s website has a “live tv” stream if you have a cable log in. You can’t pause, fast forward or rewind though so you have to be present for it when it airs to watch but that’s a good way watch it immediately if you can put up with all of that.

 

I can't even imagine how gloriously absurd the tangents of a two hour episode will be

 

Feels like he's generally packed more insanity than normal in many of the episodes this season, a two hour ride is sure to be just bonkers.

 

I don't even have one of those
