Nas is my favorite artist of all-time and I fear I will never see him live. These dates aren't anywhere close to me. The one and only time (that I can remember) he was coming to Cleveland was 2007 and the show was ultimately cancelled (no idea why).
Nah, he played the HOB in 2008 with Talib. Sorry you missed that. He played previous times here in the Stillmatic and one or two other tours. You'll catch him someday.
Yeah, you're right and if I recall correctly it was an August show. I had just started a new job a week or two before and had a night meeting and was too new to make any excuses to miss it. I'm assuming he's played Cle more times before 2007 but I don't recall specifics. I also lived in BG from 03-07. I know he played OU in 2002.
I don't understand why people still go see Lauryn Hill knowing how she acts. Luckily, Nas is on before her, so I could just leave right after his set.
Nas just announced a headlining show on September 9 at Agora Theatre in Cleveland and I am FREAKING out.
