Whoa. ManOrch version of “Blizzard” is better than the original and fits Andy Hull’s voice so well

The show last night was awesome. They played two sets. They played Let Go front to back. Then they played another regular set. Played all but three songs off The Weight Is A Gift in that set. What a special night.

Excellent pick up. It’s my favorite from them. I got the vinyl off amazon for $13 I think.

I like a lot of Nada Surf but Proximity Effect is my fave

Mostly just listen to tracks on shuffle by them, that’s the only one that holds my attention start to finish as a complete album

However there’s plenty of gems in their later work. All the records have great songs, its just mixed with too much filler for my tastes.

The story behind that album is cool. It took me awhile to appreciate it, but it grew on me big time over some years. Any songs from that album performed live are a blast. Thats what really got me into it. I found that on vinyl at some small ass record store here a couple years ago.
