Wowww, honestly it's a bit surprising after they aired a spinoff show, that's a bit commitment. Very curious about this alt ending..........
Man, I haven't watched S4 yet but this is genuinely shocking to me, I definitely assumed this was one of the top shows on Apple behind the obvious ones like Severance and Ted Lasso As long as it gets a good ending that feels earned I'll be okay with it
literally no one knows this show exists, it's a miracle to me it got a spinoff, and the last 2 seasons have been some of the worst television I've ever watched. as much as I love some of the people involved in this, which is why I still felt compelled to watch it, this is entirely unsurprising.
Yeah I was talking to my coworker who is a massive Sunny fan and I told him I just finished Mythic Quest and he didn’t know what it was
Huh. This is the kind of opinion that just bewilders me. Some of the worst television you’ve ever watched? Really?
I tend to not watch bad TV that’s all. I’m sure there’s worse shows I just don’t watch them. Especially not whole seasons of it.
Season 1 of this was pretty enjoyable, or at least I remember it being so as I was bonding with pretty much anything on television in 2020. Otherwise it felt like this show had one or two glimpses of greatness per season and just spun its wheels the rest of the time. Did not plan to get caught up on season 4 after what I’ve seen but may as well see its send off
I feel like it had the same trajectory of “Silicon Valley” - first two seasons were great and then it lost its way.
Every season of this show ranges from good to great. The cast is consistently great and I laughed a lot each episode, and I don’t think I ever felt tired of it. It’s weird to me to see the criticism here lately.
I think there's plenty of fair critique to be made about it (not the person who said it was some of the worst TV ever that's ridiculous lmao) pretty much every character had turned into the most unlikable caricature of themselves by the end (look how they massacred my girl Dana) except for Brad who was meant to be unlikable and turned into a wet blanket. Ian and Poppy had the exact same conflict three seasons running with diminishing returns every time, until the last scene of s4 which was a jump the shark moment if I've ever seen one - fingers crossed this updated finale just undoes that whole thing. not to mention how it felt like the cast were squared away on 3 different shows, barely interacting with each other and none of those shows had anything to do with the actual game dev anymore, man I missed the Dinner Party days this season if the spin-off really is going ahead and they focus their collective talents on that I don't see myself being too devastated by this tbh
Oooo interesting, I'll check out out. I'm curious how much is actually different. Like, just a few minutes probably...
I can't get it to load for some reason but from what I'm reading it's the same episode they just removed the kiss
