I saw this band five times in 2016-17 combined (plus JJ solo once) and my only regret is not seeing them six times, I can still hear Dondante from the Louisville show in '16 ringing in my ears sometimes

Truly one of the greatest live bands of all time, I also hope we can welcome back live music next year with a full tour from these dudes

 

ive never seen a JJ project live and it brings me a lot of personal pain :( :( :(

 

Also I wore my It Still Moves shirt on Sunday while I was in Louisville so I am taking full credit for making this new record happen

MMJ has, for some reason, never lined up with a date for me in either of the three areas I've lived since concert-going age lol

At one point I would have called them my favorite band - I’ve seen them probably 15 times. My friends and I traveled a couple times to see them but my favorite Jim James see later show was for Monsters of Folk.

man the deluxe LP is the coolest variant I might have ever seen

 

I'm not gonna say they're not my favorite band, they certainly were as of a few years back

 

Cannot fucking believe that I'm ~57 hours away from hearing a new MMJ record, what a beautiful beautiful world

 

This pretty much sums me up exactly too. I cannot believe it's only a couple days until we get new music from them.

Liked everything on the way down out of pure elation. Can't describe how thrilled I am at this news. 2020...you are ridiculous.

 

Scurried to buy the deluxe vinyl from the ATO page since the MMJ store was already on their second wave of orders w/o the signed print or whatever. ELATED TO BE HERE WITH YA'LL

 

I have my only hiking trip for the year scheduled during the release of this music. Just throught about cancelling haha

 

Woke up and didn't think this really happened. Had to check google news to be sure. phew.

My Morning Jacket announce new album The Waterfall II, out this Friday

 

Less than 35 hours until the premiere hype hype hype

 

Read a breakdown of most songs on the album from someone who got an early listen, and they had amazing things to say. Really can't wait to hear this.
