Eh, Summertime is not that great imo.

 

I always say Summertime will be my first dance song at my wedding if I so choose to get married and everyone who voted for it is invited. If this happens to sway any undecided voters who wish to attend this hypothetical future wedding then so be it. There are no rules about campaigning for votes!!

Na Na Na( Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) - for this match up i actually listened to the songs rn bc i remember liking them both a lot. I think Na Na Na is better because while they're both really fun pop songs, I think Planetary's second chorus type thing is weaker than the sheer energy and velocity of Na Na Na. I also like that Na Na Na kind of makes sense but makes less sense the more you try to piece it together. it's like willfully difficult.

yeah i was really surprised finding out years after the fact that people don't love that one. i loved that one when i first got danger days, definitely a standout for me. i'd put it in the upper half of the album eeeeeasily.

 

Wait yea it's not cool at all if Summertime goes out already. What are you people thinking? Do the right thing here!

 

I remember being so upset when they first played Death Before Disco and Kiss the Ring live. Ended up loving Patty Poison when the album finally came out though.
