Before we get this underway, I would like to thank everyone for attending and participating in this. These bracket games are for pure fun, and keep in mind these are everyone's opinions. Be respectful.

MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE FACE OFF

This will be NCAA style matches, with randomly generated brackets for each album facing off to decide which is the winner of each album. At the end of all of the albums, we'll do a finale Champions Bracket to decide the best overall My Chemical Romance song!

Rules:
1. Voting will take place over 10-24 hour period, depending on How close the matches are(if there's a wide margin too far to beat the round may be run ruled to not waste time), and as well as average votes and participation.
2. You must vote on every match in a round. If you don't your other votes don't count. Jut reply to this thread with your choices. I will not vote unless there is a tie needed to be broken.
3. PLEASE Feel free to discuss why you chose one song over the other and why you like that song. It's what helps keeps these fun and not just pages of song titles. Not required though, this isn't college and I ain't yo teacher.
4. I avoid byes into rounds if I can, but sometimes it's necessary. These are randomly generated I do not pick them.
5. Once your votes are counted, signified by me 'liking' your post, there are no vote changes. Choose wisely before posting!

this was TOUGH. Especially Planetary vs. Na Na Na

would love to see Summertime win as that's my favorite song of theirs overall, but I don't really see it

it's kind of crazy how ahead of its time Danger Days was

Especially stuff like Planetary I feel like would be embraced more if it came out in the past few years instead of 2010

Save Yourself, I'll Hold Them Back - I really do like Sing more than most, but I don't think there's really any questioning which is the better song here.

Summertime - well these are my favorite two on the album probably, but ok. You are truly a madman @BTDandFeelingThis how dare you do this to me. Summertime is the song I listen to most from this album. I think it's a little more unique than Only Hope For Me.

Bulletproof Heart - this one wasn't hard, but it's sad to vote against Party Poison so soon.

Na Na Na( Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na) - This is the hardest one for me. Not really a clear winner, but I have to go with Na Na Na because I still remember when that song came out and honestly loving it right away, and also because it introduces the concept of the album, and the way it kicks off after the intro. "The future is bulletproof, the aftermath is secondary. It's time to do it now and do it loud - Killjoys, make some noise."

your analysis here is dead on my feelings except Planetary barely edging out Na Na Na but if I'm being perfectly honest, I should have just said Na Na Na

that song is just undeniable and was an instant MCR classic for me

 

How much heat do I get if I say this is my favorite MCR album?

think I'd have to call Three Cheers their de facto *best* though

 

It was back and forth for me to be honest. I almost put Planetary because I really think it's as good of a song, but Na Na Na I've listened to more because it has the single bump and yea like you said it's more iconic. It was like an event when that song came out to announce the new album, and there was the whole neon post-apocalyptic theme with it and that was something I really vibed with.

I really wish I could've picked both though.

 

Yea I could see an argument for Three Cheers or Black Parade as their best. Danger Days is just so damn fun though, and when it decides to be emotional, it does it well (Summertime).
