Same and yet I still think it’s better than a lot of the stuff some of my other favorite bands have put out

 

I'd still give Sing like an 8/10. Love the verses and the bridge, just a weak chorus.

I Don't Love you vs. This Is How I Disappear was pretty close, but This Is How I Disappear's chorus gave it the edge. Honestly, neither of these songs are in my top 5 for the album.

I fully expected to vote for Famous Last Words, but I listened to these two songs back-to-back on my drive in to work this morning and start to finish I think that I enjoy Welcome To The Black Parade just the slightest bit more. I really love Famous Last words, but I think that Welcome To The Black Parade is the most iconic MCR song and if I voted against it, it'd pretty much just be penalizing it for being a big single and because I overplayed it when the album came out.

Regardless of what song wins the second matchup, that's the song I'll be voting for in the finals. I'd expect that will be the case for most of the people here too, but you never know!

 

And I'd expect the winner between Welcome To The Black Parade vs. Famous Last Words to most likely win the entire MCR bracket

 

I'm still hoping for Helena to take the whole thing. I like Demolition Lovers more personally but I doubt that could actually win.

Welcome is so overrated. I tried a re-listen but yeah, just doesn't do anything for me.

I started listening to Danger Days this morning for the first time in a really, really long time and there are some really bad songs on there. Some of the worst in their career: Planetary Go, Party Poison, Vampire Money...Oof.

Some real strong songs though: Save Yourself, Scarecrow, Summertime, Destroya, Kids, Bulletproof Heart

 

Finally someone appreciates Save Yourself besides me

 

People don't like it? I think it's far and away the best song on the album.

Planetary Go and Party Poison are both certifiable bangers and I will hear no arguments besides that.

I'm pretty indifferent to it. I don't really dislike it, but it's one of the more forgettable ones on the album I think.

I'm really surprised This Is How I Disappear (looks like) it's making it to the finals for this album. Did not see that coming at all.

 

Just because of what it has been up against pretty much, that's how it always happens with these brackets
