Definitely going to the Minneapolis show. And honestly not mad about them continuing the tour. The concept hits the nail on the head with dictatorship and the censorship we've seen with Kimmel, Colbert, etc, with the band praising a dictator against their will.
Eyeing MPLS, nonzero chance I'd also see if my friends in SD wanna hit up the Petco Park show or one of the Hollywood Bowl shows. I saw this band once during their original run so I feel compelled to play catchup haha
Definitely doing San Diego, considering one of the Hollywood Bowl shows because it’s technically a smaller venue than most of the tour but god I hate that venue lol
Will never fault a band for cashing in while they can and especially when it looks like they can still perform at a high level (though I hate the gouging that this band and others seem to be involved in....500+ bucks for a My Chem show is just ughhh)......I actually haven't caught the tour yet and was never a HUGE fan but listening the Three Cheers Remaster right now and it sounds great....all that said Ill go for a cheap last minute ticket when this tour comes by my home at Citi Field
Saw some folks on Reddit say crew members told them the show next year will be a little bit different from the one this year
Hollywood bowl shows being a month after the San Antonio date makes me thing it’ll be a grand finale of some sort.
That gap includes Louder Than Life, also leaves open a possibility for Riot Fest but I'm leaning towards them being exclusive to LTL and its sister festivals.
It frustrates me that it doesn't finish on the 23rd. But with this band you never know if that date on the 24th could be something very different.
The third guy from the left on the announcement video looks a lot like Tucker Rule edit: Oh yep that's him, didn't realize he had a part in the production for the current tour as well.
People were saying the same things about lack of new music until the band just dropped Foundations out of nowhere. I imagine any more new music will be released the same way. We're pretty sure they have worked on new music within the last few years. I think it's just a matter of when. Maybe it'll be in the all encompassing boxset 20 years from now, or maybe it'll be next year. Extremely excited for next year. I absolutely love what they're doing with the production and the world they've built. Excited to see how that changes/evolves at next years shows.
would love to go to detroit but doubt it will be financially feasible. maybe if resale tickets are cheap enough by next august. lol.
Looking back there was really no reason to buy tix the minute they dropped for this tour. So many people were posting about how they bought resale day of show and got great seats. I guess if piece of mind is your thing. I’m gonna wait until next year to get tix for Hollywood bowl
I don't see them dropping more than a standalone single while they're in The Black Parade mode. Just happy to see them still actively touring. Perhaps 2027 will be the year then
