I'm watching the black parade is dead for the first time since it's release and I totally forgot gerard dramatically starts out on a gurney lmao

Of course the stadium tour has a bigger budget and has recency bias but I think I might prefer the newer setup to the old. So I say again they need to film the stadium tour!!

 

Also because I went to the show my tiktok and insta algorithm is all MCR rn and not Kevin smith in that one interview being like "Gerard you could get any woman in the world" because 1) that's just a weird thing to say but 2) then it panned to like a crowd of teen girls with braces.

amazing show, but I’m a little peeved at zero bullets songs tonight

but I got to see a weird clown murder Gerard and then blow himself up so all is forgiven

 

One of the things I loved following since seeing them is the evolution of the show. Things like the election started more earnest, as if the crowd were actually voting, to him saying “Oh yeah let’s kill some people” in NJ, to the vote just being chicken or fish now. The fact that there’s an overall meta commentary to the tour is just insane.

 

I didn’t catch that because the sound was sadly pretty bad in the building last night

 

Toronto show was epic. They just get better and better. B stage setlist was bizarre (Summertime, Ghost, AND Sing was probably a bit much) but Kill All Your Friends made it worth it.

 

I would've killed for summertime. Top 3 MCR song for me. It's just so sweet and earnest from them

 

LA night 2 (the night I went) has had my favorite setlist so far but adding Summertime would have made it perfect
