Well, just did Danger Days and this one is also amazing. I actually did revisit this one a few months ago and realize how good it is front to back but this listen just reinforced that too Flawless discography. Gonna do Conventional Weapons and the b-sides and then probably just blast everything on repeat until the show on Friday
This is the only time I'm glad a band is playing Wembley Stadium for convenience reasons as normally it's such a headache, but compared to Milton Keynes, yay! Exciting. Wonder who will support.
This is the only band I'd deal with a stadium for, hoping to go on the Saturday and praying I get Deathwish and Bury Me in Black.
Good luck for anyone trying to get tickets because it was an absolute nightmare trying to get standing tickets for Linkin Park when they played Wembley Stadium.. I imagine the queues to get tickets will be insane!
Crazy that the 2022 reunion dates were in much smaller (but still big) venues and it was pretty easy to get tickets.
I couldn't go those dates due to personal family reasons at the time but I think these dates r gonna be really difficult to get tickets this time around
It does seem that their legacy and importance has grown significantly in the mainstream consciousness in the last few years
Yeah, we made the decision about a month beforehand to go to Warrington which was 19k capacity and got tickets no trouble.
I'm sad cause I didn't get the yay or nay signs. Didn't think I'd care but it'd be cute to frame it by the setlist I caught from the original black parade tour!
The fact that they’re playing Black Parade in full is a big selling point I think. Seeing it in full was something special.
The stage show was a genuine blast, a great way to re-fashion it for the times. Plus, the grab bag of the B stage set (that has included an unreleased song)... Frank has been mostly justified.
Yeah I saw the original black parade tour and it was cool seeing a complete reimagining. I initially expected a similar rehash of the original tour and I wouldn't have complained about that at all. Getting a completely reimagined version with the lore and stuff felt cool and made it seem like a very different show. Made it feel like I got my money's worth Even tho I do think they suck for not turning off dynamic pricing and I wish they would've worked with Ticketmaster to make it so people couldn't transfer tickets on the site for more than face value. Idk, the Cure really made me side eye all the big bands for not following suit
Honestly it sucks, and robert smith definitely exposed how money hungry majority of big artists are at the same time I am glad I found really good floor seats for cheap.
Fwiw I think it’s awesome that this band will rip tracks from not just their first album but also b-sides and demos.
I'm trying to snag decent tickets to the show in Philly tomorrow. Do ya'll think it's worth waiting until tomorrow morning to see if prices drop lower or should I not risk it?
Nevermind, was just able to get floor seats for under 300 each so I went for it. SO FUCKING PSYCHED!!!
