Seeing them on Saturday in Dallas. Has the tour variant of The Black Parade been easy to get at the show or no?
I always thought Gerard was vegan (or at least vegetarian)? Granted that's an old tweet... and this could be a meat-free hot dog? I believe Frank is still vegan. It’s interesting that some of the tour’s symbolism features cipher-like messages about livestock animals and even a DRAAG flag depicting a dead deer pierced with arrows. Could they be suggesting that the dictatorship’s oppression extended to animals as well?
With the exception of San Francisco every night at merch was annoying with huge lines and lots of waiting but from what I saw most people were getting the shirts and hoodies so I always saw the vinyl being available when I'd go through.
They have a vegan version Field Roast™ Signature Stadium Dog Becomes the First Official Plant-Based Dodger Dog of the Los Angeles Dodgers | Field Roast
Looks like they ship in early October. With how long the merch lines reportedly are, this is a good alternative to waiting for hours
I got a nice quality shirt at a Father John Misty show for $30 the other day. Feel like I never see them below $40 at shows
I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Devo and "only" spent $40 on their tour tee. It's why I'm really trying to only shell out for merch for smaller or indie label acts these days Like I finally bought my concert tickets for the NJ show and it was half the price of my rent jfc I bought the online tour shirts from Thursday but MCR aren't getting another cent from me sorry dudes
My MCR shirt I bought on the reunion tour has got to be one of the worst quality shirts I’ve ever seen. White labeled, fourth world country see-through Hot Topic garbage. The margins on these things have to be insane. Meanwhile my Charli tour shirt is one of the best I own. Unless they changed suppliers I’m 1000% passing on their merch.
i feel like i say this too often but lately unless a band shirt is printed on Comfort Colors, I'm not going to buy it because I won't know if it will fit me. A Comfort Colors large is pretty perfect for me
I take good care of every one of those CC shirts. They get hung up to dry and doing my best to keep them in good condition. The best.
I still have an old Academy Is shirt from the truck stops and stateliness tour they did with Panic at the Disco, Acceptance, and hellogoodbye and it's the comfiest best quality merch shirt I've ever owned. I retired it now but still have it and it's still noticeably softer and higher quality than other merch I have Worst offender imo is Taylor Swift. I refuse to buy her merch. So expensive and such garbage quality
