starting a prayer circle for cemetery drive in tampa. my absolute favorite mcr song. i will also take drowning lessons....
Probably not gonna be able to be on the rail for the show in Boston, but seeing clips of the stuff they have going on during Famous Last Words has made me insanely jealous already.
It is very exciting to see theatrics going on in the production. Everything has to be so "authentic" these days that it's just exciting to see a band do something different, like the "election" or Gerard getting slapped in the face by the dictator's representative. And it's on the nose for our politics today with Trump being the piece of shit he is.
I also feel like Gerard probably prefers to play a character than be himself onstage. Seeing the footage, he seems a lot more comfortable than a lot of the initial reunion tour. And I bet those lines being blurred between acting and authenticity were a huge part of why they called it a day in the first place.
Didn’t realize this until I looked at the setlist on setlist dot fm but they had Clarice Jensen playing cello?! She fucking rules, highly recommend her solo material if you haven’t checked it out.
Sooo after missing the Seattle show and dying from FOMO I may or may not be making a birthday trip to NJ to see them
Yoooo I booked a flight that gets in like 12 hours before my hotel check in. What is there to do to kill time in NJ lol Edit: my bf loves it's always sunny in Philadelphia. Maybe I'll take him to the jersey shore LMAO
Cross-posting here….proud dad moment today when the music account I share with my wife and kids revealed this:
Headed to San Francisco tomorrow, still ticketless, but hoping for the best. Hoping TM will drop some new field tickets today as the stage gets set up!
