I don't see any reason whatsoever to expect anything except a Black Parade set followed by a quick hits set.
Going back to the previous discussion a bit but as someone who didn’t know anything about production in the early 00s, and who certainly didn’t know what the loudness wars referred to until recently, I always thought Three Cheers sounded great, better than most records from that time.
I finally caved and got tickets. Night 2 of Dodger stadium, row 1 of the first section of seats on the floor for $140. Night 1 those same seats were like $400 so I’m happy haha
I'm expecting maybe a one off song then the announcement for a final tour before they call it a day again.
As much as I’d like to be proven wrong about a new MCR album, I think we’ll get 3 more LS Dunes albums before we get a new MCR record.
I’d be happy with an EP even, but I will smile and accept just another standalone song at this point.
I'm still bitter that we never got a vinyl re-press of Conventional Weapons and a first press of "Foundations of Decay"...
i'm genuinely surprised they didn't do a 12" release for Record Store Day or something. it'd be incredibly accessible to do a standard pressing like that instead of reprinting the 7" boxset.
Imo, I'm not a fan of how buried Gerard's vocals are in the mix, and it just doesn't have a strong enough hook that pulls me in. Its not a BAD song that I dislike, I just haven't found myself returning to it after the first several listens. I still want new music from them regardless lol
