yeah sometimes shows have a second stage where like a subset of the band will play some songs during the set (usually like acoustic/piano tracks from what I've seen but who knows)
Or where, just hypothetically, a dude in a hospital bed or like half a marching band appears. Just hypothetically
To be fair, they haven’t really done anything super theatrical since The Black Parade Tour in 2007. They took a decidedly more stripped back approach ever since. Aside from the curtain drop that revealed the stage on the reunion tour, they haven’t really done anything fancy production wise in a really long time.
I’ve been assuming they wouldn’t do a black parade tour again without something like this but good to hear it from someone else who might know more
Going down a rabbit hole of bands on talk shows and such and this is just absolutely wild that they did Destroya on Jimmy Fallon. It goes so hard.
He’s not, he’s just not nearly as good and he’s a lot older. I don’t think the tweet is a great comparison
AD is playing like a top 15 player in the NBA this year. So no, its a poor comparison. But as mentioned, AD is older and the difference between a top 15-20 player and a top 5-ish player is monumental in a sport like basketball. So the trade was fairly ludicrous.
I don't know anything about sports and have never heard of that players name before yesterday, and even I could tell the comparison had to be bad
