whoa thats crazy, i was revisiting three cheers JUST the other day and was literally thinking how lucky of a musician he was to be in mcr at the perfect time, didn't have to record their breakthrough album but got to be in all the videos and promo for it, then be on their biggest album, tour on it, make all that $ if he signed the right checks, and then he was done. crazy he passed away so young. RIP Bob.
Deeply sad. Some of my favorite drum parts of all time are on TBP, and Dsnger Days has always felt a little lesser specifically without Bob's drumming. I always wondered why he stepped away.
he wrote his parts on 5 tracks on danger days i know 2 for sure were on bulletproof heart and na na na
This was the post he made about a year ago. It’s all incredibly sad and he was very troubled by the sounds of it. Hopefully not a controversial thing to say, but no one deserves to go out that way. Seems like he really lost his way. Rest in peace.
If I had a nickel for every time a former band member antagonized their entire fanbase immediately before dying tragically, I'd have two nickels this year, which isn't many but it's weird it happened twice. RIP
Damn, that was a difficult read. It really feels like he’d understood what had gone wrong and wanted to make amends. Perhaps he realised he couldn’t. No matter how much someone has made some bad mistakes, they don’t deserve to feel that way or it have it end like this. RIP.
