Ha fair enough. I think they just fucked up since they said the Passcode was BEATS and thats the actual passcode for the Armor For Sleep presale which is actually today
looks like the Fenway tickets are being sold through MLB and not Ticketmaster? i set up a MLB account just in case
My experience (for shows at Wrigley) has been that you buy tickets through TM and they show up in the MLB app, though it's possible that's changed in recent months.
Ticketmaster has two events listed, the first being "Platinum Tickets" through TM and the second links you to the MLB site. The MCR site takes you to MLB as well. I feel like that is going to confuse people
Basically, Fenway more or less runs their own ticketing via MLB and are pretty predictable when it comes to drops/releases, etc. It's mostly predicated on this show (like most) having VIP options. Usually, Fenway will kill off the remaining VIPs (of which there are usually many) 2-3 weeks before the show. The link will just go dead and say the offer isn't available at this time. Once that happens, it means they're getting ready to throw those tickets into the regular pool. Unlike Ticketmaster, though, where the changeover happens instantaneously and you rarely can time it to get ahead of bots, Fenway usually wants a day or two. So, once the VIP links get shut down, you know to just start checking very frequently. They also tend to be a little more aggressive in lowering prices in the final few weeks, too. Definitely not uncommon to see prices of the premium seats drop 50% or more. It's not foolproof, and there are variables, but I've had success three separate times now either getting great seats for less than original face or upgrading my seats for less than I originally paid.
All Fenway shows are sold through MLB - including VIP when that option exists. Ticketmaster handles the platinum tickets only!
They could just drop the album/EP on Friday imo, they could just do that with no rollout and I would not complain, not even a little
Dropping new music is an easy way to get people even more excited to buy tickets to the tour it’s a no brainer
