With oasis the day before in Chicago do you think it’ll be hard to get a hotel/flights for that week?
I don't think it'll be any harder than any other part of summer in Chicago. We have tons of hotels and always plenty of flights.
Don’t see a lot of people talking about the very early doors/start times to these shows. Seattle has doors at 4:30 and show at 6. I’m sure there will be at least one additional opener announced for each show, but even with an hourlong support set for the main opener, what time are they taking the stage? 8:30? That’s a long set
i've still never heard TBP in full except maybe 2-3 songs so i don't understand an album with a song about teenagers being scary having such a huge following.
Seems about right. Fairly sure they did almost two hours when I saw them at the first UK shows the other year.
Why would an anniversary tour be on the 19th year and not the 20th? So much new imagery and aesthetic doesn’t line up with a purely nostalgic tour, just feels like a new chapter to me with new music but under the guise of the Black Parade alter ego. Kinda like how they came out as the Black Parade on the tour in 2007 and then came out as MCR for the rest of the set.
But you admitted to listening to 2 songs? Of which, admittedly Teenagers is quite different thematically to the rest of it. Maybe just spend the 45 minutes giving it a go instead of shitting over the 5 minutes you have heard and let people enjoy things.
this means I finally get to see The Sharpest Lives live, which is inexplicably not a song they've played very much, apparently!
This is so cute, did you go out of your way to post this in the fan thread to get scolded by us specifically or
Based on the video, the video description and Frank's instagram comments, it really does feel like this will be a super elaborate theatrical performance. I'd be surprised if it was just the bare bones minimalism we saw at WWWY.
you fucking rubes. it's obvious they will be performing an entirely new album that happens to also be called the black parade. genius shit
