I just don't love going to concerts anymore haha. Just kind of stresses me out driving into Boston and back, having people stand in front of me when I want to sit, having difficulty hearing the music because everything is blaring too loudly Definitely would prefer new music
I love going to concerts but I've seen MCR 3 times back in the day and seen them perform The Black Parade in full on that tour with the full stage show etc.. so if this is gonna be the same thing and no new music being released then I am just not gonna bother.
Ryan fucking preach lol I hate going into Boston for shows, though the MGM Venue is sick if the Sox aren’t playing.
i highly recommend some Loop earplugs i forgot to bring them to the Brat tour and was right up close to the stage. couldn't hear well for over two weeks. i wont make that mistake again lol
Haha yeah, when I saw MCR a couple years ago at the TD garden, I decided to get an Airbnb in the city and take an Uber there and back. Didn't realize that the Garden is a fucking dead zone for Verizon service, my phone was at like 15% while I was trying to to find our Uber. Multiple Ubers cancelled on me because of the traffic. It was a nightmare lol
Haha same. I saw them on their very first night of The Black Parade tour in Manchester, NH (weird starting location), Projekt Revolution shortly after, and then their reunion a couple years ago
the Haymarket Garage is my secret spot, usually decently priced parking and it has restaurant stands/bars/bathrooms below it
I didn’t say it was a mystery. I said it was wild to me. Because it genuinely is insane to me that people are complaining about them doing a tour and acting like they’re owed a new album first. Of course it’s not surprising. People complain about everything.
Would really really love new music but also probably won't be all that disappointed with a TBP tour. I had tickets to two different shows on that run way back when and both got cancelled. I'm still sour about it. Seen them plenty, but always been sad I missed that.
Something not many people are mentioning is why would they seemingly introduce an entirely new aesthetic (logo, cryptic caption that seems to have nothing to do with TBP) if it’s really just an anniversary tour?
I don't think it's wild or insane but then I don't think people are acting like they're owed anything either, or at least not here. But just as people have a right to be excited that a tour is coming to their town, I think it makes sense for others to be disappointed because they'd be more excited for new music. I dunno, I guess I just see where people are coming from?
