If nothing else ever comes of it, I'll always be so glad I splurged and did both Boston shows. Incredible one-two punch.
I still think an album will happen eventually, maybe I'm delusional lol. They've almost been back together for as long as it took them to put out Bullets, Revenge and The Black Parade the first time.
If you go to the messages section, you can leave a note at the top for people to see. I think it stays for like 24hrs. But you can add a song clip with it or by itself.
There was rumors they were waiting for Rob Cavallo to be freed up for their next record (after Doug McKean passed away). Frank is with Dunes through to December so no studio work this year. Can see them heading into studio in the spring, maybe the Warped one offs in the summer. Single late summer or fall would probably fit timewise if they do have studio plans.
He's already spoke about how MCR is his priority and how he might have a fill in for Dunes in future. He's not picking one over the other yet, not his choice TBF.
New York Red Bulls got their asses kicked by New York City FC at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey tonight but I wanted to share the work done by their supporters group members, Empire Supporters Club, on this MCR-themed TIFO that they raised prior to the game. Their work far surpassed their team's on the night.
I mean Warped needs to figure out if they want a touring WWWY with smaller headliners or do what was happening before the mid-2010s and get a bunch of acts that would like the exposure more than the income.
Damn, I didn't realise that Gerard Way was pushing 50. For some reason I thought he was early 40s. If they do plan to release an album, I hope they do it sooner rather than later.
Back when “Foundations of Decay” came out, I was certain we were getting at least one more record. I’m 99% certain we are not getting one now. But that 1% of me is still like “sounds like what someone would say when they have a record in the hopper waiting to go.”
