I spotted this at Walmart. I don’t collect vinyl, so maybe it’s just me, but I thought this was weird to see. I’d figure they’d have The Black Parade over this, especially at Walmart.
This record is trending heavily with the 20-25yo crowd rn. In my local scene almost everyone I know who is around that age has their instagram notes sound set to a song from this record or is posting the songs on their stories. Also, a bunch of instagram bootleg shirt makers are doing rips of shirts from this era of MCR too. Bought my friend a bootleg tape of it recently.
I'm in the mindset now that there's no way we're getting a new MCR album...but in the back of my mind, there's like 1% of me that's like "They're making one and gonna surprise us after When We Were Young"...but it's unlikely imo.
That reunion tour had more “farewell” vibes, especially with the run at the end of the American dates at the forum centered around each album. I’m going to WWWY so I can say that I got to see them again, but I wouldn’t be surprised if nothing new came
Especially since Frank seems more stoked about LS Dunes than anything else at this point. I get it but...I want some goddamn new MCR
