yeah a lot of the imagery and stuff they were using when they first reunited made me think they might have finished off The Paper Kingdom to release after the tour.
Well, the only official 'The Paper Kingdom' era release we got was 'Fake Your Death', and I'm pretty sure demo snippets had been circulating of 'The Foundations Of Decay' a few years prior to it coming out so that was likely also from that era. It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of that scrapped album gets repurposed to varying degrees for whatever comes next, and with something official announced either at the end of 2024 or the start of 2025 once WWWY is out of the way. Also, as they're headlining it and would normally do a set longer than the length of 'The Black Parade', it wouldn't shock me if they snuck something new into the WWWY set too.
Yeah the Foundations demo clip from this week definitely has me thinking that song is older than I realized
I know TBP is like THE album for most, but damn.....Danger Days is that for me. DD just never gets old for me and it's aging sooooooo well.
I had a dream that I was at a small MCR show and they looked like danger days era. The stage wasn't even raised. It was just in the middle of a room with only those velvet rope things as a barrier. I was right up front judging the people trying to get closer and be up in the bands space and grab them. The band kept getting mad and stopping because they wanted to play a small intimate show but the fans didn't respect boundaries and kept trying to grab them Now, Now was the opener Very weird. Haven't listened to either in a while.
Is something finally happening? They just updated their Facebook profile picture literally a minute ago (as of typing this) and it appears to be a new logo. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1015460156618687&set=a.267150288116348
This post dated July 25, 2020 that is definitely not from the band and seems like it's actually from right now due to the time of the comments: https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1015429179955118&set=pb.100044641350094.-2207520000
Also their Facebook name is now MyChemicalRoom so someone changed that too https://www.facebook.com/MyChemicalRoom and posted this to Facebook stories
If Clint Eastwood actually died and My Chemical Romance was the one to break the news I would have a lot of questions lol
You’re right that post definitely wasn’t them, but it can’t be from 2020 cause that happened on this season of American Idol a couple of months ago lol
