I don't get this at all. PTV is like way worse than MCR I also bought 3 cheers at circuit city. had to go grab my mom since it had a PA sticker and I was 15
for whatever reason, I never discarded my 2004 calendar. So I the Three Cheers release date marked down, along with other notable moments and releases this time 20 years ago.
Makes sense. However I am in my heart of hearts manifesting fate to somehow align for Mike Sapone to produce the next MCR album because I think that combo would reach levels I cannot fathom. We all have our dreams.
I was very Christian at the time and the iPod came out so I just downloaded the songs from iTunes that didn’t have curses
I feel this too deeply. Getting the edited version of SOAD’s Hypnotize is what cured me of my need to avoid explicit lyrics
Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge is my all-time favorite album, but I recognize TBP is objectively their best.
Kerin Cunningham (who did a bunch of MCR inspired stuff ages ago and has since done official designs for the band) has some sick anniversary designs lined up: https://www.instagram.com/kerincunningham?igsh=azJxYng1eG9yczM3
Also I am begging for a reissue of the vinyl with the alternate art from the 2008 pressing that I failed to buy back in the day
I have a very vivid memory of being in 6th grade.. Summer of 2005 and in one single day... I went to my best friends house, we were getting ready to go see Revenge of The Sith for the first time..Our small town, the best thing to do as a middle school kid was get dropped off at the movies and get picked up later.. My friend went to go shower and left me with 2 CD's he had been listening to... Hot Fuss by The Killers and Three Cheers.... I heard Helena and Mr. Brightside for the the first time, on the same day, and then went to see ROTS.... One of the best days and formative of my life.
