Been revisiting Three Cheers and TPB a lot the last few days, really loving them. For the first time in my life I feel like I might like Three Cheers a tad more than TPB. There is not one single song on either of these records I don't love but the more raw appeal of the former is appealing to me a bit more atm I am listening through TPB a bunch though and Mama will not leave my head, I'm listening to it like four times in a row haha
Rumors floating around they were waiting for Rob Cavallo to be free before trying to work on new stuff. (After the foundations producer passed away, rip, and they cancelled post tour studio time) He did Green Day last year and a couple of acts he manages this year so they probably don't have anything recorded yet. Frank has LS dunes on the Rise Against tour this fall so guess if anything this year they'd be going into studio in the summer. Probably nothing until next year if not.
I had a chat with L.S. Dunes whilst they were at Slam Dunk last weekend, and that went live today for anyone who's interested.
I still think Black Parade is their best, but 3 Cheers is an A+ too. I actually think Conventional Weapons is an A+ too and Danger Days is like an A-....great fucking band lol
i still remember the day i got 3 cheers on cd at circuit city 2004 was an amazing year in music so bring on the 20ths
