Hot take, they just got better and better as a band as time went on

Let's hope they prove this with their next album.

  4. If I’m going to listen to MCR it’s Bullets.

Bury Me in Black, Desert Song, Heaven Help Us, My Way Home Is Through You and Kill All Your Friends is the best run of b-sides ever.

I mean, grindcore exists. There's absolutely an audience for anything and everything.

Foundations of Decay is at worst a top-4 Mcr song, they could do it

Yeah upon further reflection only ones that are for sure ahead of it are Cemetery Drive and Deathwish, but Demo Lovers probably is too. Then add Venom and that’s my top 5, big second half of 3 Cheers guy over here

I didn't really like Foundations :ducks:. But I'll always be ready for new MCR. A bit ago I got back into Danger Days a lot, but I think my go-to is always Three Cheers.

I like foundations and think it’s a well written song but for whatever reason I never listened to it very much and don’t feel a strong attachment to it. Perhaps in part because im generally a full album listener, so I rarely pick out single songs to listen to, especially slower tempo ones.

I think it's incredible but I've only listened to it like 20 times because I'm hoping it'll be on the album lol.

  14. Please know I say this as a person who holds MCR's whole discography near and dear to their heart: Foundations is top tier and if the next LP (I have to believe) is on par with that front to back it could be their best record to date*.

Also if there is a straight up Three Cheers show next year I will pay stupid money to get to/attend it because I am a mark for that shit**.

*This is my opinion, it's transient, shifting like water, I reserve the right to change my mind.
** This is not transient, shifting like water, this is an actual guarantee.

Foundations opening the shows was an unreal experience. Out of body moment.

Wonder if Rob Cavallo will do the next album as he's back producing now. Would make sense.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

the scenery change at "let the flesh SUBMIT ITSELF TO GRAVITYYYY" is the greatest thing I've ever seen

I think the only thing I've listened to off Bullets is whatever music video was on FUSE at points

Happy 4th anniversary to the Return show at the Shrine! Honestly such a great experience except for the whole catching the ick (my friend who I stupidly hugged was one of the overnight campers aka ground zero for the ick) and then missing Xmas. Whatever. It was totally worth it.

Never thought I’d say this but… hopping from one Instagram live to another trying to watch the whole show was a lot of fun.

All we need is another release from these dudes, Jimmy Eat World, and The Starting Line in 2024 and we’re golden.

According to my apple music, I've only listened to Foundations one time. I feel like that's wrong... and is closer to 5, but, never got into that track.
