Worm would for sure lie though. Either way. Buuut I did see a post on Reddit yesterday that really made me believe there wasn’t anything coming anytime soon, I can’t find it now though.

I'm coming down from the emotional high from Fest so I did appreciate the small boost of serotonin these rumors gave me.

 

Man. There was about an hour or so earlier where I actually thought we might be getting some news today. What a ride.

I remember paying $30 to see that in full at the Forum in 2007 with Rise Against opening.

 

Hopefully that will just be one show on the world tour for their new album.

I got floor tix when I went to the actual box office to get tix. Online wasn't showing floor at that time.

They were meant to go into studio after their US run last year according to both rumors and Frank but this was cancelled. Frank confirmed it was cancelled due to the death of their former producer Doug McKean who did Foundations so they didn't feel right to.

Frank was on the road with LS Dunes most of this year and MCR only wrapped up in March, so probably didn't have a chance for studio yet. There was baseless rumors of them recording a single in August as they were all in LA, so take that as hope if you wish.

Their agent had told people in August they were trying to book South America for late 2024/2025 (so most likely working on a full world tour)
Maybe a single if they announce a tour then studio in the new year for the full length.

 

There's hope

 

Man, I'm still bummed about the first Boston date in the most recent tour. Worst setlist I've seen, and there was a 12 year old girl in front of us screaming in the most high pitch voice the entire fucking show

 

I'm so sorry I was AMPED

 

if i ever went to an MCR concert and there wasn’t a 12 year old girl screaming like a banshee that would mean that i had officially lost all connections with the younger generation and it’s my time to fade into the background until i inevitably dissolve into the dirt

Yeah that's a sick setlist. I really hope the next time they come here they're still playing Bury Me in Black.
