I was only ever a casual MCR fan during their heyday and honestly never even knew these songs existed until right now, but I'm currently listening for the first time and I'm 3 songs in and these rule

 

that being said it makes me irrationally angry that a song called gun has knife artwork

the gun was right there

why

The gun is a metaphor for our knives

 

A lot of you are missing that the song is called "gun." (as in "gunpoint" you see)

knives are pointy

Update: last night's show was amazing, the steep hills of Auckland almost defeated this Floridian and then I ended up on the same flight to Australia as My Chem.

I thought when only Gerard and Jamie (the keyboardist) came out to start the encore they were gonna play Cancer so my jaw absolutely dropped when they did that snippet of Cemetery Drive. Such a great moment. Absolutely love how every night of this entire tour have been such amazing and different experiences.

 

think that made up my mind to get tickets to see them this Sunday with Jimmy Eat World. know I'm going to regret it if I don't

 

I was lucky enough to interview Frank Iero in person today for a chat about L.S. Dunes - he’s such a warm, thoughtful person. Looking to publish this Friday to coincide with MCR’s remaining Australian tour dates (very quick turnaround but I’m determined!)

 

They’re genuinely the nicest dudes ever. So is Zach Lind, really wish I could see that combo.

 

Surely he told you the new MCR album was coming out soon, right?

 

i fear they may be calling it quits again after this tour. just a gut feeling that i'm not basing on anything tangible.
