No black parade outfits tonight. Gerard was in a red soldier/officer uniform of some kind. And he was amazing.
Just saw a TikTok of them playing Our Lady of Sorrows last night. Jesus Christ. https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTR9HYWRT/
As I said in the WWWY thread, I was on the flight to Vegas with Frank on Thursday and chatted for a minute. I head to the airport this afternoon and we're on the same flight back to NJ. Shared some greetings with each other again, great guy.
Thought it was about time we gave some true love to Conventional Weapons on here: My Chemical Romance – Conventional Weapons
I dunno, considering Adele canceled a whole ass Vegas residency not too long ago...I think this can go either way.
Well, MCR still have some tour dates left. They're not in the US, but it could be good news. Wouldn't be shocked if they're done after their tour dates in the spring though.
My Chem announced their reunion pre-pandemic and 3 years later still haven’t released an album. I’m guessing they are going away or slowing down again.
If they call it quits again I’ll be forever grateful for this tour, but still heart broken lol. I’m also assuming that tweet will not actually provide any actual inside info and just leave it at that lol.
No way are they calling it quits. They're just getting started! New album next year I'm betting my sanity on it.
I kinda figured they’d go back into hibernation after the spring dates. I think all the cool theatrical stuff Gerard has been doing has been a way to keep the shows interesting for him because he’s not interested in performing the hits every night forever. btw I’d be very happy to be wrong here
do you think MCR will continue to get arena-sized draws for future tours, assuming they intend to put out a new album and then tour on it again in the future? do you think they'll be targeting smaller venues now that the reunion hype is passed, or are they gonna be playing places like Bridgestone Arena and Barclays Center from here out?
