They sound fucking fantastic and they’re clearly having a blast. Even if there is no new album I’m glad we all got one more round of MCR
This band tailoring song bust outs, setlist sequencing, outfits, performances, etc. to a given city, date, or occasion on this tour is nothing short of the most massive breath of fresh air this scene has ever had in regards to the careful consideration of your environment and a tremendous level of respect for your paying audience. Instantly one of the most important and consequential tours in the history of these genres.
Took me flying out to the opposite coast, scrambling to find a Sunday ticket after the cancellation, changing my flight to 6AM after the show, and feeling absolutely dead and certainly fucked for work tomorrow, but I finally got Deathwish live. Worth it.
