The people towards the barricade were getting the teeth kicked out of them from pushing early on, think they're just out of gas. Gerard stopped the show at one point to tell the pit to back up for people to be able to breathe. Whole place was singing along to Vampires.
Watched footage last night in PA where Gerard was talking about how he met a girl before the show that wanted to meet the band for her Make-a-Wish, and how her favorite song was an MCR song that they haven't played since the Black Parade tour and they weren't planning on playing it on this current tour and that it was on the Black Parade. Any guesses as to what it would be? My guess is Disenchanted which is a bummer cuz that's my favorite MCR song.
When the bridge kicks in you’re like oh shit…THEN THE SECOND BRIDGE KICKS IN oh wait that’s Disappear but still and it’s more like three bridges
As a former wish kid I’m kinda surprised they didn’t incorporate it as part of the wish. It’s an incredible group that can pull off a lot of amazing things.
Ahhh I’m so nervous about the setlist they’ll play for Firefly fest. My ultimate wishlist song is Its Not A Fashion Statement. Other than that, the rarer ones (they’ve played) that I’m hoping for are Summertime, Save Yourself, and This is How I Dissappear. It also blows my mind that they haven’t busted out Dead! And Sharpest Lives.
Looks like they’ve been playing less Danger Days the last few nights, which is kinda a bummer. I’d love to hear SCARECROW or Bulletproof Heart when I see them in St. Paul.
as much as I love Danger Days they have like 30 songs I'd rather see live than any Danger Days song. I've probably seen every Danger Days song live at this point too which probably doesn't help.
I just saw this and I’m confused. Original tickets were honored - the show was never canceled, just rescheduled twice. What happened?
Updated as of 9/5/22. Burn Bright made its live debut in Raleigh and Vampires Will Never Hurt You was played for the first time since 2012 in Philly. They have also now played This Is How I Disappear, Cancer, Prison, Scarecrow, and Surrender the Night in the US (all 5 had previously been played on the UK/Europe leg). 41 total songs from their discography have been played. Frank said they rehearsed 45. They did play something referred to on the setlist as "Everybody Hates the Eagles" at two shows, Raleigh and Elmont, which was an updated version of the "Noise Rock Jam" they played in 2011, but this version was slightly different and had spoken word lyrics. I didn't include this in the 41 number.
